Something appropriate to the god, and the wemic. Something at about the same Challenge Rating as the horse would be, and then start advancing its abilities from there. If the wemic's god has some association with avians, perhaps give him a falcon or the like. Or if the god is of the sun, look for something appropriately diurnal, possibly in some way golden furred or feathered (to reflect its association with the sun). A hunting cat of some sort almost seems appropriate in my mind, so long as it's essentially about as powerful as the horse would have been - perhaps a bit more, in light of the fact that a mount receives certain advantages that an animal without a rider wouldn't (The Mounted Combat feat springs immediately to mind, which brings along the others that it's the prerequisite for).</blockquote>
