Almost! It is wildly more intense than the previous little thing I was using... and, importantly, way more robust. I can't wait to try it out in a game.

Last of the minis for the Asterians!

Three Spectre Blade Master and a Cairn Command Centre ‘super heavy’.

I’ll probably put some flock on the bases for all the units to tidy up the bases a little bit.

Then, in a couple of weeks time, I’ll start on my Plague army.

These guys have been primed for a few years now and I still need to finish them, yikes. Going to go with a low visibility grey and darker lower legs.

If you sprayed there, that’s brave. I have an improvised spray booth which is a big cardboard box with a side cut away.

I hadn’t done any model painting in about 7 years, there is always the option to start again. I’ve found it very mindful.

Not at all. Always spray in my gravel parking. I have a spinning stand. Never had any problems. Were are past the pollen season. I leave them on the garden chest to cure for the first hour, to keep drying fumes outside the house.

Here’s the army in all its glory

That’s about 3800 points, against a normal budget of 1500-2000 points for a battle, so enough for variety between games.

I’m on holiday next week so won’t get to try them out for a few weeks yet, and when I get home I’ll start on the Plague but one of my gaming buddies has already painted a Forge Father’s army so I won’t have to finished the second army before getting my first game in.
