Help me understand if you don't think Tail Sweep is useless as an attack option for dragons.
1. A dragon has to be colossal before it even functions on most PCs. Do you think it would be inappropriate to raise the maximum size of the targets by 1 (or 2) classes?
2. It does less damage than a tail slap, which I guess I can understand, but then you can save vs. the tail sweep (and thus use evasion), which makes the tail sweep all but useless.
3. No attack roll, so any feats or attack bonuses are useless.
4. Would it be a bad idea to use a radius equal to the modified reach values (for tail slap) given in the Draconomicon?
