Message: <blockquote data-quote="Ibram" data-source="post: 1868238" data-attributes="member: 17640">There are several "famous" wizards IMCBlackchasm:  eight hundred years ago the dwarven Runemage who would one day be known as Blackchasm was trying to save his city from the seemingly endless tides of Orcs and Goblins who assaulted it.  The traditional magics of his people could not bring the decisive victory he sought, so he began seeking out sources of power.  As the years wore on he became desperate, and turned to Dark Magics.  When this was discovered he was cast out of his city.  Enraged, and already slighty mad from his tainted experiments, he turned on his former people.  He broke down spells protecting his former city letting an army of Goblins swarm in.  He then used his powers to cast a terrible spell slaying every living creature within the city encluding himself.  He sought rest, but the Dwarven Gods cursed him turning him into a Vampire.  Now he is known as Blackchasm, and spends much of his time waging war against the Dwarven kingdoms.  He is a skilled Necromancer and Daemonologist and is known for his Goblin Ghouls as well as numerous cursed and evil weapons.The Elder:  No record remains of when the Elf known only as the Elder came from the east and built his tower within the Forest of Deep Shadows.  For as long as records have been kept he has been there.  Some have sought him out, but his help always comes at a steep price.He is a lich, but only a handful of people know that (and most of them are in his inner circle).  For thousands of years he has been performing his experiments and conducting strange research.  He has a vast network of agents around the Inland Sea.</blockquote>
