Dunkin' is my fave of the ones listed that I've had.As far as types of donuts, powdered and jelly-filled are my faves.
Not even gonna give Tim Horton's the time of day, for a few reasons.

Umm... the one that's going to be in my mouth?

Honestly - I've only ever had three of those (Dunkin, Krispy, and Duck). Tim Horton's I know is Canada, and the near-border side of the US (like northern OH, far western NY state, etc.) but I've never had one of their donuts. I don't even know where I'd find the others.

The best donut I've had to date is the vanilla iced donut from Firecakes in Chicago. Anytime we are near downtown Chicago, we will swing by and grab at least a half dozen!

of the big chains, I'm good with Dunkin' Donuts.

Krispy Kreme has seemed to have a mass exodus in these parts. I only see them in grocery stores instead of fresh (there used to be shops, all closed), which isn't ideal.

I stopped by a Tim Horton's on my way back from Origins years ago (before any of their controversies), and I was very much disappointed in both their donuts and coffee.

When I'm trying a place out for the first time I will always get a jelly-filled, glazed, plain cake, and a black coffee.

...wait, hold up. Tim Hortons controversies? Am I missing something?

I haven't been living under a rock, but I have been living in a remote canyon.
... They are doing a Harry Potter crossover, you can get themed donuts. So I'm basically not hitting any chain for coffee the next few months, as I won't be supporting American chains right now, and corporations that support the terf can also go for a long walk off a short pier.

The Doughnut Pantry in Lakewood, Ohio. They mainly do yeast doughnuts though, very little cake.
I was going to joke that it was the one that was properly spelled as doughnut but I am surprised there is actually such a place in Ohio.

When I go to Tim's I generally get the vanilla dip because of the sprinkles but I think the honey cruller might be the "best" one they have. I refuse to buy their Harry Potter doughnuts despite them looking like ones I would want to eat. But a total boycott is not in the cards. Ice capps are one of my Dad's favourite treats, and given his condition I am not going to deny him them.
