I spent 3 days putting off a phone call and then when I absolutely had to do it I called the persons voicemail at 5 am. That way I didn't have to actually talk to them. If I had not of done that then Gods forbid they would have answered, and what would I have done then? Actually, I probably would have hung up and then call my banks 1-800 number so the phone is busy if they give a ring back. I am introvertedly weird, I know.

I’m somewhere on the AuDHD spectrum (undiagnosed), and I think it has something to do with not being able to see the other person. Video calls are a little better, but I still just prefer talking to people in person or via text or email.

My daughter has phone problems and would rather text, being only 18 and just graduating high school. We have had some recent conversations about being an adult and needing to do adult things sometimes.
