My daughter has phone problems and would rather text, being only 18 and just graduating high school. We have had some recent conversations about being an adult and needing to do adult things sometimes.

Younger generations in general have more phone problems due to the phone not being the primary communication tool anymore. The part of having a live communication without actually seeing the others face is really weird for humans if you are not used to it. At least thats how it is for me. I have no problem with serious video calls, like for job interviews for example. But a simple check up call via phone without camera makes me nervous.
