Message: <blockquote data-quote="Gothmog" data-source="post: 860952" data-attributes="member: 317"><p>I picked up Unveiled Masters on Thurs, and have read most of it now.  All I can say is WOW!!!  I never was a big fan of mind flayers before this book, but they definitely have a place in my game world now.  I especially like the alien mindset they have and the Great Work, since before they always were presented like another evil subterranean empire, much like the drow.  The info on illith sub-races is great, and illustrates how insidious and subtle flesh-crafting can be.  And the prestiege classes are enough to make any DM cackle with glee (I especially like the Skull Collector, Warrior of the Violet Line, and Master of the Flesh).  This book really makes them sinister and frightening, and greatly expands their horizons with new options.  Hellhound and gang- wonderful job!!! <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
