The products of the ring have always struck me as silly. Guy Gardier in "Superman" made silly work though.
Relies on the imagination of the user. His creations would have been call backs to things that have appeared in the comics.
The Green Lantern Kyle Rayner (which won't be featured in this film I suspect - being too young in the chronology) is an artist and his creations were creative in the comics.

So we have the great LOTR movies but I would think there’s close to a 100% consensus that the followup hobbit movies are not as good. No guarantee of future greatness based on past performance. I am very worried about the hunt for golem
I would argue that the Nolan Batman movies pre joker aren’t very good and I personally enjoyed the joker and later Pattinson 1 best
It is funny that there should be no objection if we take a Greek goddess and cast them but what if if was the other way. I think there would be riots in the street if you took it the other direction. The age of the lore shouldn’t matter

Interesting. I thought Nolan's first two were good, his last one, I felt, was rushed.
I surprising liked the Pattinson up until the last 20 minutes - I recall there was something silly that irked me in the last part of the movie. But up until then it was great, and I was not expecting it.

The age of lore only matters when it seems convenient.

Well done to Mel Gibson for actually making the effort for Apocalypto and The Passion of the Christ.

I rewatched The Dark Knight a couple years back and whenever Heath Ledger was on screen I was riveted, and whenever he wasn’t I was bored. It doesn’t have that much to offer aside from one amazing performance, though it’s a competently-made flick.

There's only one Nolan Batman pre-joker, Batman Begins, and most people hold it in very high regard.

I don't know what that means. What's the 'other way' of taking a Greek goddess and casting them?

Let’s say a middle eastern person/asian/ African legends and cast a anything but those

I saw the outrage in china and how Hollywood had to diminish the size of a certain x stormtrooper on posters etc in the new Star Wars movies or

What if they recast some f the people on Wakanda with people from say India

There would be outrage and the director would be immediately fired

Your argument is what difference does it make is 109% one sided

Poor Aaron Eckhart. People rewatch Terminator 2 for the scenes with the T1000, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and arguably most of Die Hard for Alan Rickman (including the German brothers for the latter) etc etc
First time I've heard someone call parts of TDK boring.

I wouldn’t count all of those as evidence of Hollywood sensitivities and lack thereof just because some are decades old. But so many recent examples support your stance. (Throw in, for instance, The Fall and Pathfinder and on and on.)
