A small page of parchment is pinned neatly to the boards, and a message is written in strangely fluorescent yellow ink.

To the one called Ariel,

Your friend Valandil is temporarily moved from his residence at your home for a period of approximately two weeks. He will not be seeing you until the two weeks have ended.

The note is signed with a single vertical line.

 

[Elf_Ariel]

An elf appears, with a dark and tired scowl, a frown that casts deeper shadows across her face. She reads, and with a quick easy hand pens a reply in flowing script.

To the sender of this message,

I pray for your sake that you do not anger him, and pray further that you do not anger me anymore. Provided he is returned safely, be it in two weeks or tomorrow, I believe that will suffice. Watch your step at night if he doesn't.

Her name is signed, the characters quite beautifully taking on a distinct elven pattern.
