Not my personal issue- and you may be ahead of me on this- but I’ve noted that there are shoe companies that sell extra width shoes up to EEEE. Some of those companies may also sell socks or who makes them. It’s always good to have options.

6E. I might be able to wear a smaller size but I find them comfortable. If only someone knew of a place to find extra wide socks.

It’s weird how much easier it is to find really wide shoes than really wide socks.

Shoes tend to be fairly precisely fitted, so if you can't find ones in the right size it is an immediate and obvious problem. Socks have some give, so you can, to some extent, just get by.

(Consider that random cheap athletic socks for men usually have a 3-4 size range, and sometimes as much as 5).

I have some black dress socks that will stretch to cover my hobbit like feet but they're stretched so far they appear see through. I can see my toes through the material.
