Trigger power and Metapsionics

How does the trigger power feat work if you apply metapsionic feats to the power you want to trigger?

I'd like to answer, but in fact no one knows the answer to this one. The PsiH, the author, the Sage, etc all disagree (and there's only two answers )

In the interest of game balance, say no!

As for the psionics handbook itself ... it has no information at all on this.
