True20 Modern Settings?

Since my group decided to get into True20 I was designated as the "find and collect" guy for the group and I've been looking around for interesting True20 material. I found some good advice in the form of what general books to buy and got interested in Reign of Discordia and Blood Throne. However, are there any good Modern/Horror settings available in print? I liked Razor in the Apple from Worlds of Adventure, for example. A preference goes to campaign settings like that - melding modern myths and horror, or those related to "fae" (think grown-up versions of Bridge to Terabithia, Spiderwick Chronicles).

Actually, Reign of Discordia will soon be available in print format, which you'll be able to order from lulu.com.

Agents of Oblivion is a modern/horror setting available from Reality Blurs productions; it too was in Worlds of Adventure. I'm afraid that the "big books" aren't available yet but hopefully they'll be out soon.

Reality Deviant Productions is scheduled to release True20 Cthulhu in the next couple of months. The book just went to layout a couple days ago and should be out relatively soon. I'm not sure when they'll have it ready for hardcopy, though.

There's also Technothrillers, also from Reality Deviant, a modern spy-thriller toolkit. It's got an implied setting but nothing too specific or detailed.

Most modern gaming products assume that you have something you already want to do. As such, they try to give you the tools to do it rather than wed you to their story. Some exceptions (Year of the Zombie comes to mind) go the opposite direction with some success but those are pretty rare. And I'm unaware of any written for True20.
(As an aside, YotZ actually works better with True20 than it ever did with d20 Modern. Simply adjust zombie stats to be appropriate to the various types that setting has, and limit or ban adepts to get an appropriate level of powers, and you've got a fun mondern-post apocalyptic-horror-survival setting that can do whatever you want for however long you want. Overall a decent setting with fantastic fluff, clunky game mechanics, and poor product design. I really wish they'd used a different game system, completely different mechanics for zombies, and that they had proper formatting stuff in their products [adventure summary, index, better tables of contents], but I can't complain about the quality of a setting they produced.)

Although not specifically "Modern," the Nevermore campaign setting definately has its "Horror" elements and is designed to be used with any setting. The default in the books is fantasy, but I'm currently working on a "Modern" young adult novel that will eventually lead into Nevermore and I'm enjoying all the fantastic and surreal options this world opens up.

In addition, the "fey" and myth play important roles in the campaign setting and there should be plenty to mine in both areas even for a Modern setting. ;)

Last but not least, the "dream" rules could be used by any True20 campaign setting because I made sure they were generic enough to port over as needed. It would be perfect for a Bridge to Teribithia, or Spiderwick campaign ;)

You can find the free Nevermore Gazetteer at Your Games Now.

If you like what you see, then you can also get the World of Nevermore book from Expeditious Retreat, your FLGS, or wherever else you might find it.
