D&D General Turgenev's Friday Freebie Maps

Here's the Monday Blues Map #215 map. This week's Monday Blues map is a dungeon map with two entrances. Click to enlarge.



Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 42x62 10’ Squares or 84x124 5’ Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1261x1611
  • This week's Monday Blues map is a stand-alone dungeon map with options to expand further (via the stairs down and the open pits).
  • Areas 1 a) and 3 a) have stairs leading up.
  • Areas 1 a), 1 b), 3 a), 3 b), 14, 25, and 31 have columns/pillars. The pillars at area 14 are a giant battery where lightning from the statue hits the metallic pillars that build up a charge that shoots lightning bolts from area 14 b) and 14 c). This generator room powers the gate-like false doors on the map.
  • Areas 1 c) and 3 d) are one large open space that is at a lower elevation that the surrounding rooms. The shaded areas on the map represent lower elevations and NOT water.
  • The row of dots at areas 1, 3, 17, 33, and 34 have bars/gates.
  • Areas 3 b), 29, and 31 have hidden pits. The hidden pit at area 3 b) drops the unwary into the lower elevation of area 3 d).
  • Area 4 a) has a secret trap door in the floor (that connects to the tunnel of area 41).
  • Area 4 b) has an altar on a dais.
  • Areas 4 b), 14 a), and at the end of the corridor east of area 34 have statues. See area 14 for the power battery description.
  • Area 8 has a fireball trap. Area x8 is the termination point for the fireball trap.
  • Areas 9, 35, 38, and 39 have open pits.
  • Area 10 has planks of wood that are used to cross the open pit at area 9.
  • Areas 11, 13, 15, 18, 19, 24, 29, and 31 have false doors. These false doors could be portals to one another on this dungeon and/or to other dungeons/planes of existence/other worlds/etc.
  • Area 14 b), 14 c), and 16 have lightning bolt traps.
  • Area x14b is the termination point for the lightning bolt from 14 b).
  • Area x14c is the termination point for the lightning bolt from 14 c).
  • Area x16 is the termination point for the lightning bolt from 16.
  • Areas 18, 19, and 27 have tapestries.
  • Area 25 has a pool/fountain.
  • Area 30 is a stone bridge that crosses the lower sections of areas 1 c) and 3 d). The dash lines represent the lower elevation tunnels.

  • This week's map is a standalone building/dungeon combo.
  • The double white lines on the outer walls represent windows.
  • Area 1 is outdoors of the building level.
  • Areas 1, 31, and 37 have pillars/columns.
  • Areas 1, 2, 7, 15, and 37 have statues. The statue at area 15 b) is much larger than the rest of the statues.
  • Areas 2, 15 a), 21, 24, and 37 have tapestries.
  • Areas 7 and 15 b) have daises.
  • Areas 8 and 9 have stairs leading down to the dungeon level.
  • Area 15 a) has an altar.
  • Areas 15 c), 15 d), and 29 have trap doors in their ceilings. The trap doors at areas 15 c) and 15 d) lead up to the rooftop level (not shown on map).
  • Areas 15 c), 15 d), and 29 have ladders.
  • Area 14 has a secret trap door in the floor.
  • Area 17 has an open pit with an iron grate cover.
  • Area 18 b) is a well.
  • Area 19 has a hidden pit.
  • Area 27 has a pool/fountain.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 42x62 10’ Squares or 84x124 5’ Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1261x1611
  • This week's map is a dungeon/cave combo. This map can be used with last week's map or as a standalone dungeon map.
  • The circle of dots at areas 1, 5, and 12 are openings in their ceilings. These are the entrances to this dungeon level (not counting the cave tunnels in the bottom half of the map). These three openings line up with the circular open pits of last week's map.
  • Areas 1, 5, 6 a), 12, and 18 have pillars/columns.
  • Areas 3 and 17 b) are open pits.
  • Area 4 has a hidden pit.
  • Areas 5, 8, 12, 15, 16, 20, 21, and 25 have false doors. Like last week's map, perhaps some of these false doors are gates that connect to other rooms, dungeon levels, and/or other realms.
  • Area 6 has statues.
  • Areas 6 a), 16, 18, and 26 b) have tapestries.
  • Area 6 b) has a throne sitting on a dais.
  • The row of dots at areas 10, 13, and 14 b) have gates/bars.
  • Area 16 has a pool/fountain.
  • Area 29 has an underground river.
  • Area 30 a) has stalactites (ceiling) and stalagmites (ground). The stalactite "circles" have a dot in their centres. The stalagmite "circles" have three or four lines pointing towards their centres.
  • Area 30 b) is a slope with an arrow pointing downwards.
  • Area 30 c) is a cliff ledge at a higher elevation than area 30 a).
