Now I know why we only use halflings as spies and scouts back in the army. That keeps'em away from us. grumbles Hadarai in a low voice, not to be heard from Marco, as the group walks away. [sblock=TACTICS and bonuses]I wanted to make a post to remind you all the little things having Hadarai in the party gives you. First of all, everyone gets +2 to initiative if they're within 10 squares of him. Also, whenever you spend an action point to make an attack, you get a +2 bonus to hit. As for the powers, that's where a bit of tactics can make the party much better with a tactical warlord. Aside from healing you, a tactlord can make the party more efficent on the offensive. Hadarai's main at-will is Commander's strike, which basically means that he will always use either Vaunea's or Finnian's basic attack instead of his own, adding a +4 to dmg as a plus. Vaunea's is the best so I'll use it as often as I can with her, but either her or Finnian, or at least Erlai, should be flanking with Hadarai. Warlord's favor is a power that gives you +5 to all your attacks vs the target for a whole round, so if this its, it's best to use an encounter or even a daily power, possibly spending an action point too, since +5 basically guarantees a hit. In 4e a party can do much better than the sums of its parts with a bit of tactics, so let's try to communicate during battles, 'k?[/sblock]
