Hello all.
My psion was disintegrated recently, and I thought it'd be fun to have her return as an Unbodied. There are a couple of questions I'm not clear on, and your vast wisdom and knowledge might be able to help me out. If these questions are answered in another thread, then I apologise.
1) What does True Seeing perceive when looking at an Unbodied? They actually change appearance when they Alter Self, so I don't see it as a disguise as such. If it is a disguise, what is their true form? Not the floating brain, surely, as that's no more real than any other form. The implication in the Expanded Psionic Handbook is that Unbodied are undetectable, but that seems a bit radical.
One possibility is that they appear to be whatever form they're in, but are transparent to represent their incorporeal nature. How does that sound?
Or maybe she appears to be her original form from when she was still human. And transparent.
2) Can incorporeal creatures wear and use magic items?
