I'm trying to put together a list of a few "must read" and "must see" items, sort of an "Appendix N" for Asian-flavored settings. I'm looking over gaming materials (OA rulebook, and a couple settings), but can anyone give me few pointers to non-gaming materials.? For example:
* FICTION (especially literature, but also film, animation, and the like)
* layman's survey of the region's history, cultures, etc
* descriptions of mythologies and/or religions, philosophies
I ask because this is entirely new territory for me. Hopefully, having such a list around would be a useful resource for others, as well. Thanks!
