Does anyone else put Chick-Fil-A sauce on hotdogs?
I do not, but that’s probably only because I don’t eat Chick-Fil-A sauce. Because I’ve tried almost every thick-textured condiment in our house on hotdogs (or sausage links served hot dog style).

One of my favorites is the Lebanese condiment toum.

Toum is basically turbocharged garlic aioli. Instead of adding puréed garlic to mayo to make aioli, the Lebanese simply made an emulsion of raw garlic and vegetable oil, sometimes with seasonings like salt or pepper added.

Had a double smash burger with mozzarella cheese, banana ketchup aioli*, achara, and a longganisa on a pan de sal. It was very good, but I'll eat most anything if you slap a longganisa on it. I'll probably get it at least once more while it's on offer.

*I'm calling it that because the restaurant did, however I'm philosophically opposed to calling flavored mayonnaise 'aioli'. It's fine when we're talking about garlic, because I can follow the line from "aioli is garlic emulsified with olive oi" to "lets add an egg yolk because garlic is a terrible emulsifier" to "Well that's basically mayo so if we sprinkle some garlic in at the end it's kinda the same". The wider trend, so far as I can tell, comes from a time when restaurants didn't want to put mayo on the menu because it wasn't considered high falutin' enough.

I prefer my hot dogs hate-free, personally.

Mustard and chopped onions always, sometimes relish, sometimes sriracha.

Also, like most things, kimchi goes great on hot dogs.

I have a funny kimchi story. Buddy of mines father bought the house my mother rented in 1985, and we became friends; still are. His dad was the type to putter around when he had free time and "experiment" with new hobbies but was never really good at any of them. Not long after they moved in, he was making wine in the basement, my brothers stole a bottle or two, and it was horrible. Fast forward to 2019, and he tries his hand at making kimchi, and he's pestering us to try it. My friend tried some and turned green  immediately and got this ghastly look on his face. Just the smell of it was disgusting, I wasn't trying any of it. I think he just didn't make it right. I was at the store last night and was looking for some to try as seeing it mentioned here pretty often piqued my curiosity. I couldn't find it, but I know I've seen it recently.
