I need to vent. Due to the board guidelines I am not going to talk about what, but I just really needed to post a big GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR somewhere.

You know how some people are just painfully difficult to deal with and you sometimes literally feel like you are the only person who has any common sense at all? That's how I feel today. It's frustrating. It's the people I work with, mostly. And the people who post to another (non gaming, non Nutkin related) message board. They are driving me mad. The message board I can turn off (and have). But the workplace chatter I can't. And I'm about ready to scream.

Gah. I feel better now.

I find typing AHHHHH with as many H's as you want also tends to relieve a lot of stress. It works even better when you actually write it down, and then reflect on the rediculousness of doing so.

Sorry to hear you're frustrated- hope things clear up soon (they usually do, though).

Personally, I like to smash tvs when I'm frustrated. Always with the owner's permission, of course (haven't had in tv in about 10 years, though I did live with one a coupla times for a year). But really, nothing- and I mean nothing- compares to putting a sledgehammer through a fricking television screen and hearing the vacuum tube go 'whoomp.'

As for what got me rankled, I suppose a safe way to phrase it would be to say that I work with some people who drive me insane, have no tact, no sense of respect for other peoples opinions etc. And like to loudly discuss things that are not really "work appropriate" if you know what I mean, with no regard for who hears them.

There is one guy in particular, whose opinion I not only disagree with but I find disgustingly offensive. He has a strong predjudice towards a certain group of people and loudly spouts off about it at work. He does it in a sly way so that it would be difficult to take it up with human resources.

I like my job. Sometimes the co-workers get to me though. Thanks for listening. You guys are awesome.
