Congratulations, that sounds like an awesome experience. I'd be simultaneously thrilled and a little intimidated with such an opportunity myself. I'd feel an obligation to learn as much as I could but be self conscious about my layman level of knowledge about particle physics. Hopefully you will be more relaxed about it than I would and actually be able to enjoy the experience.

Fair enough, but the stuff I saw was people saying things like “I’ve been sleeping so much better since they turned CERN off and reset the timeline.” Quite seriously as far as I can tell.
