Weapon of Sundering

Ok, have a question here.

A surestrike weapon is automatically assumed to be +5 for the purpose of defeating DR.

I wanted to create a varient of this idea. Basically it is the Sundering weapon ability. A weapon of Sundering is considered to be +5 for the purposes of sundering other weapons.

Would you consider this a +1 or a +2 enchantment?

Well, surestrike is +1 and I think that is much more useful. More creatures that have DR then there are times one needs to destroy items.

Your right. This ability just screams "use by DM much more than player".

Yes it does. Pair it up with Improved Sunder Feat from S&F and you'll really have fun

I would NEVER do anything like that. I mean just imagine a Barbarian2/Fighter2 with Sunder and Improved Sunder who rages and then aims for your weapons.

I mean what kind of DM would throw out such an opponent.
