[*]Threats of Legendary Evil The wilderness is a known place of danger, and usually that danger comes in great numbers. However, sometimes numbers are not needed, as the rush of air or the crackling of twigs can come from only a single dangerous threat.
[*] Wilderness Travel, Part 2 For this month's installment, I've designed a skill challenge to serve as an example. The skill challenge shows how you can set aside a region of your campaign, seed it with a few NPCs and locations, and let the PCs loose. This challenge does not use a map, but you could easily place the sample encounters and destinations on a map and track the PCs' travels that way.
