What’s your favourite movie sword?

Sorsha and Kael's swords in Willow always struck me as neat.

The Sheen/Pratt Musketeers swords I loved.

Willow just had great costuming and props across the board. I love that freakin' movie. I agree with both of those, even if they're both a little over-the-top.

I'll throw in a vote for Glamdring, since the blue leather always stuck out to me.

Also, the Green Destiny sword from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Somehow that movie manages to be completely over the top without being absurd. I love it to death.

Yeah its one of the inspirations that got me interested in Early Modern Europe as a setting, the balance of Enlightenment Reason with older superstitious, social upheaval and nationalist pagentry.

I agree with the above posts, Sorsha's sword and whole gear selection is on point.

Lightsabers in general, Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber in particular. Because SLJ & prurple.

But to be honest, there probably isn’t a main character’s sword I haven’t liked on some level.

I’ll put in a word for the Stranger’s lightsaber in The Acolyte. It’s just clever and practical, the best designed double weapon in the franchise.
