Another relatively old animated series that is still excellent is King of the Hill. The two latest seasons (after a hiatus of 15 years) have been great fun and quite satisfying.Oh, and I've been keeping up with Futurama. It has been so great having the show back. Some of the recent episodes have been a little weak, but even bad Futurama is still good television.
I'm already doing a rewatch and I watched the entire series about 2 weeks ago!Lower Decks is pretty great - I’m rewatching the last two seasons now.
That was one of those shows that never really clicked with me. Maybe I should give it another try.Another relatively old animated series that is still excellent is King of the Hill. The two latest seasons (after a hiatus of 15 years) have been great fun and quite satisfying.
It does help that Quaid and Newsome do look a bit like their characters, I’m sadly not sure it would have worked so well with Cordero and Wells, though I’d be still happy to see them try,I'm already doing a rewatch and I watched the entire series about 2 weeks ago!
I have to say, the thing that led me to it was the crossover episode from Strange New Worlds. I thought that episode was the funniest Trek I've ever seen. Sometimes when Trek is trying to be funny, it is not very funny. But this was a delightful exception. And now that I've seen lower decks, that episode is even funnier.
Agreed, remarkably helpful. They kind of just walked off the cartoon screen and onto the live action screen pretty seamlessly. It does help that Quaid and Newsome do look a bit like their characters,
Mrs. Noah and I were looking up the cast as we were watching the show. And we got very excited when we saw who was playing Rutherford. We had a good laugh about his performance as Pillboy from The Good Place. He was so funny. There's lines of his from that show that we still quote in our household.I’m sadly not sure it would have worked so well with Cordero and Wells, though I’d be still happy to see them try,
I think it would also work fine for Dawnn Lewis (Captain Freeman), Jerry O’Connell (Ransom), and probably Gabrielle Ruiz (T’lyn). A bit less so for Fred Tatasciore (Shaxs) and Paul Scheer (Billups) and obviously not brilliantly for Gillian Vigman (T’Ana) and Paul F Tompkins (Migleemo).Agreed, remarkably helpful. I noted many Futurama voice actors in a variety of roles on LD, which was a fun and comforting surprise.Dawnn Lewis (Captain Freeman)
