What games are the best organized / easy to understand ?

Anyways, games that meet the OPs criteria have since been released—I’ll let their champions here post about them. Maybe they were inspired by this thread.

For me the best is still Beacon: BEACON TTRPG by Pirate Gonzalez Games


It is a mid complexity game so not a simple one like others, but it has such a grea layout and good rules writing making it in general really easy to understand. Just look at the example pages for class race etc. on the link above.

I might throw just the original book of Daggerheart into the mix. The book is extremely well organized, the cards are easy to understand, and (personal anecdote) the people at our table that always seem to have difficulty with rules (no matter what system and how many years we have played) seemed to grasp this one best.

PS - I am leaving out rules light games.
