I guess there are two reasons Hunter got a revamp and Mage didn't.

1. Renegade Games (which IIRC were the ones who did Hunter and Werewolf) liked Hunter better.
2. Mage is a very weird game and would likely take a lot of time to get right in a way old Mage fans would like. Hunter on the other hand is pretty straight-forward. So they chose to pick the low-hanging fruit.

Honestly, that would be a huge flex and a great way to get a lot of attention. And realistically, the bar would just be "do better than last time," which I'm confident they can do.

I buy that MtA takes a lot of work to get right, but bringing back HtR just feels like a consolation prize after HtV ran circles around it.
