D&D General What is your favorite dragon lair?

THEMNGMNT

Legend
I'm running a campaign where the player characters are looting abandoned dragon lairs.

I'm looking for fantastic, inspiring maps. And I'm not finding much! The ideal map is would be 5-10 encounter locations suitable for 2-3 sessions of play. I don't want simple caves that can be cleared in a single encounter.

Why am I asking? Previously, we played a homebrew version of Tyranny of Dragons. The players killed a lot of dragons! This is a sequel campaign with a different set of characters set several years later. In the intervening years, new monsters have taken over the lairs. For example, imagine a white dragon lair now occupied by a frost giant, or a green dragon lair occupied by lizard folk.

If you have any favorite maps of dragon lairs, please share them here! Stories or ideas are welcome, too.

Divine Contention, the last module in the After Icespire Peak series has 2 lairs. The green dragon of Kryptgarten Forest and the ghost dragon found in the Mere of Dead Men. The one in the Mere is found in the crypt of the Uth lord or such from when the swamp was formed. It is ok with some undead before you meet the dragon.

I always thought this would make a great module though.

I might be a little biased on this - how about a White Dragon's lair that's been turned into a Frost Giant's abode? Dungeon magazine #78, "The Winter Tapestry"

A simplified map (when the dragon was still alive) seems to have appeared in the 3E Draconomicon
