I really wish that GF9 board game didn’t get canceled.

GF9 always struck me as a company that could make their own games but sat on the sidelines making accessories for other companies games.

I love Communities 2 D&D episodes; they are really funny IMO. Supposedly there is a movie coming out soon.

This would absolutely hit my "sweet spot" for supers RPGs and, honestly, I don't think there's an existing supers RPG that does it well (HERO can do it, but it's a lot of work for a relatively low power payoff).

They were on a hit streak for awhile with Spartacus, Firefly, Homeland, and dons of anarchy. Folks just wouldn’t buy them

I would really like to see a reboot of Pirates of Dark Water along with a new tabletop RPG for it (I learned recently there actually WAS one, but no longer produced for a long while).

I feel that the RPG Against the Darkmaster was practically written to do that.

If we're just throwing out books and movies that could use an RPG adaptation, there would probably be tons ... among the more recent ones, I would love to see an RPG for Robert Jackson Bennetts Tainted Cup/Drop of Corruption series (intrigue, fantasy biotech, bizarre kaiju), or an RPG set in Ann Leckie's Imperial Radch.

Thinking about big IPs that for some reason don't have an official RPG yet, the first one that comes to my mind is Twin Peaks. I mean, it had such an obvious influence on lots of scenarios for Gumshoe, or Liminal Horror, on Unknown Armies or on pretty much every modern horror/supernatural RPG in the last twenty years, but there's no bespoke TP rpg ...

There was a company making RPGs based on Faith No More albums and after that, Radiohead albums. (It might have been two companies.)

There's quite a few bands and musicians it could work for. Led Zeppelin practically cries out for it, as does Iron Maiden. The Mountain Goats even have an album inspired by tabletop RPGs that is full of great gameable imagery.

Heck, I can imagine (theoretical) RPGs based on individual music videos. I still want to know more about the futuristic landscapr of the video for Scandal (ft. Patty Smyth)'s I am the Warrior. That, and the weird pointy-eared elf that makes jukebox's explode in Meatloaf's Rock and Roll Dreams Come True (directed by Michael Bay) seems like it comes straight out of a TTRPG.

Licensed TTRPGs are having a boom this last decade--Modiphius and Free League alone have swept up 99.999% of modern pop culture, with Renegade hoovering up the rest. Star Wars is with Edge, Star Trek with Modiphius, Doctor Who with Cubicle 7. There's even a Tom Clancy game coming. Books, movies, TV, video games, cartoons, it's all getting the TTRPG treatment.

So, what licensed TTRPG would you like to see which isn't currently being done? For me, I'd love to see a new James Bond TTRPG (I have the old one from the 80s, though I've never played it). And what system would you imagine it being powered by? Or a custom system?

One could argue that Star Wars isn't currently being done, as Edge has been sitting on the license doing nothing but reprints for a number of years now.

I wouldn't mind seeing another Babylon 5 RPG, although at this point I suspect it would be presented in a system Zi don't care for. I'd rather just model with Level Up's Voidrunner's Codex.
