I never read those. There was always something else I was waiting on when I saw them in the bookstore. They good?In that case, I also want a MythAdventures RPG![]()

There’s loads of songs & music videos out there that you could work with, from bands like Dokken, Queensrÿche, Billy Thorpe, Krokus, Aldo Nova, Daft Punk, Matthew Sweet, Môtley Crüe, BÖC, etc.Heck, I can imagine (theoretical) RPGs based on individual music videos. I still want to know more about the futuristic landscapr of the video for Scandal (ft. Patty Smyth)'s I am the Warrior. That, and the weird pointy-eared elf that makes jukebox's explode in Meatloaf's Rock and Roll Dreams Come True (directed by Michael Bay) seems like it comes straight out of a TTRPG.
Space:1889 does a decent job of cribbing from HG Wells and Jules Verne, FWIW.The other option is to look at stuff that is now Public Domain - The Land of Oz for instance, HG Wells Time Machine, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, The Black Arrow, Treasure Island
They were fun back in the day, if very silly. (Phil Foglio adapted them as a graphic novels, so that's their general tone.) I suspect they probably have some sexist elements in them, but I haven't gone back to them in decades.I never read those. Haven't realized what "Tanda" means yet, eh?I suspect they probably have some sexist elements in them
I have a lot of fond memories of that series. Funny stuff. I should do a re-read.with Trollops and Pervs and a sexy but menacing assassin the MythAdventures do have some questionable aspects but it is just a groanworthy Dad joke level of mythogyny, and far too many of puns.
I'm 55, read all of the Myth books in high school, and until your post didn't even think her nickname implied something so....Ummmm I still don't know! And googling did not help lolHaven't realized what "Tanda" means yet, eh?
It's certainly got plenty of detail to draw from for the world(s), a variety of class and species options, and an interesting magic system. In that case, I also want a MythAdventures RPG![]()
