No one's mentioned The Expanse yet? Or has that been licensed?

And Orson Scott Card's Ender series for sci-fi, or Alvin Maker series for American frontier fantasy.

Of course, he's another author who didn't learn the lessons of empathy and understanding the other which he wrote about in his own books, so probably wouldn't fly with today's audiences. A shame, too. One of my favorite authors when I was younger.

Honestly, you could write a generic "soap opera" system that could probably encompass most of that, but the problem with them I think is how to make them fun for all participants. Strong words on solo gaming.....why? What about Fighting Fantasy, T&T or other programmed module solos, never mind the modern solo Journaling craze? I'm really hung up on the use of the word approve here.....a lot of people enjoy solo gaming.

Do a search on Downton Abbey LARP. It's a thing and a lot of people get into it. Not me, but I can see why it would appeal to others.
