Forbidden Planet! - They just deal with one planet, but that Spaceship was part of a bigger story
Sinbad - Adventure
Quartermain - English version of the Wild West and all the pulp stuff, guess Indiana Jones coves it.
Atlantis - Earth-dawn came close but from movies, myth, etc. could be a great RPG

John Scalzi has a couple few good ones I think.

Old Man's War first. Sure there is scifi but nothing with that exact twist to it.

He's got others. Like the weird mash up of aliens and influencer media.

Honestly don't remember if this came up earlier in this thread, but a Fourth Wing or Grishaverse TTRPG would probably do gangbusters, those book series are extremely popular.

S.M. Stirling’s Nantucket/Emberverse series could be fun to game in, but I’m not sure you need any specific RPG system. It might not be unique- or popular- enough to support a license agreement.

David Brin’s Uplift setting would be cool, but may have the same problems with commercial viability.

From what I read in the reviews of He-Man & the Masters of The Universe, that licensing fee is dropping fast…
Side-note: actually, the reviews I've read are pretty good: the movie seems to totally and unapologetically embrace the fact that it all is a bit silly and not to be taken too seriously, and all in a good way; don't fight it.
