What spells can be cast on Shadows?

For purposes of spell targeting, a creature-simulating effect is generally treated like a creature. So, most spells whose target is "caster" or "creature touched" (or whatever) would function.

Other spells are more specific about what they can affect, and they'll work only if the image fulfills their condition. For instance, Barkskin works on a "living creature touched," but a shadow is not actually alive.
