To restart my RPG collection after a fire? Everything Dragonbane which would be about $200. The starter includes dice, a battle map and standees, so no need to buy that. That one is a keeper that would need to be bought again.

Again is the operative word here. Which other RPG would I want to spend to other half on? Good question. I've played many RPGs but I'm not sure I would want to buy the physical books again. I know it wouldn't be anything that has to do with D&D or variants.

I would keep the other half and look for new RPGs that I have not read or played, yet.

After thinking about it, since my RPG books burned it also means all my wargame plastic miniatures melted. I would use the second half of the $400 to buy the Core Space miniature board game by Battle Systems and the Five Parsecs from Home book.

PF1 is my go to but archives of nethys means I wouldn’t reinvest in the books. I’d lean on probably Traveller purchases. Maybe some Call of Cthulhu and then whatever is left.
