What Video Games Franchises/IPs need a Tabletop RPG

Reynard

aka Ian Eller
We've done this thread before, but new video games come out all the time, and TTRPG adaptations of video games do happen on occasion.

So what video games that do not have a TTRPG currently or imminently need one? Who would you want to produce it? What sort of rules system?

Mass Effect is a perennial suggestion, and I don't disagree, but I think I would still like to see a tabletop version of DOS1 and 2 -- a real crunchy, tactical, positioning and environmental focused RPG that also has a built in reward system for character stories.

My current playthrough of the Mass Effect trilogy is giving me a deeply strong itch for an official Mass Effect TTRPG. I know there was a FATE one that was supposed to be good but (a) that was a whole IP kerfluffle to my understanding and (b) my feelings vis-a-vis FATE have been long-documented in these halls and need not be relitigated. I do have this very nice set of Mongoose Traveller 2 books lying around that are looking very nice right about now...

Otherwise, give me a Pillars of Eternity TTRPG. The setting is deeply fascinating and there has never been and never will there be a more elegant 6-attribute system.

Now that could be good as long as you ignore the stuff from the 3rd one. It just got weird there.

Is the Pillars turn based any good. I have always wanted to play those but I hate RTwP.
