My friend is on vacation so I cannot really progress my main BG3 playthroughs so I started another one even though I swore I was done with Act 1 for the time being. Made a character to go for Jack of All Trades without just cheesing a hireling during the endgame of another playthrough. And on top of that I gave them a 13 in ever stat, . Going to put my +1 from the Hag in Con, the only stat that does not affect skills. He is a lightfoot halfling, and just hit fighter 1/cleric of Oghma 1/rogue 1/druid 1. I also figured that since my main character will be getting no feats it is as good a time as any to level up companions without using stat boosting feats which other times are just too tempting.

Just reinstalled BG3 this evening and was rudely reminded that I need a new PC, desperately.

I am playing below specs and it works alright, though I have yet to see whether Act 3 will despise me. But I am playing on lowest possible resolution with upscaling enabled, and max 30 framerate.

I did, however, just realize I actually screwed my entire build because I was mistaken about how multiclassing works: not every class grants a new skill, and part of this character's schtick is supposed to be having proficiency with everything . So I think if I want to try this over again I am going to have to make a new character and start with rogue instead, and either be human or gith, and get heavy armour proficiency from ranger knight.

Been playing a lot of the new Star Fox, after three playthroughs have unlocked all of the levels. Gameplay really holds up, the new UHD graphics and orchestral score recorded at Abbey Road are gorgeous. Highly recommended.

You are aware you can respec your character (and indeed everyone in your party) to your heart's content by talking to a certain bony friend, right?

For this specific achievement you cannot respec. Also, it would not really work for what I wanted even if I could because I need to use astral knowledge for five skills in order to push my proficiencies to the max.

True, but I would point out that getting the "Jack of all Trades" achievement and doing a Jack of all Trades build are two different things.

Starting over just to get the achievement while ALSO doing the build seems overly punitive to oneself, but you do you, of course.

It's kind of just a dumb little personal challenge to try and get them both at the same time. The same way playing Skyrim or Fallout without fast travel is a personal challenge. But in any case restarting six hours into a one hundred plus hour playthough is preferable to playing the whole thing dissatisfied.
