Dogtown is easily my favorite area of the game. It's rough and ragged. The rich gather in the Black Sapphire while far below everyone else is living in cobbled-together conditions.Desk repaired, back in action and continuing to explore Phantom Liberty in Cyberpunk. Really starting to enjoy Dogtown, the verticality of the area is a welcome change from much of the rest of the game.

I'd say it's really good. And if you get it, you're no longer short before the end game, or at least, you still got a huge cohesive story-line to do instead of going for the endgame.Of all the games to be stuck with... FTL ain't a bad one.
I need to get back to CP2077 too. I was really into it, and then hit the point in the end where it gives you a warning of: "Hey.. This is the end game, there's no going back from here." and I put it off, and then eventually stopped playing.
I've heard the DLC is really good too. I keep almost buying it every time it goes on sale. Have you tried it?
Oh, it is great with the Revival mod. Not just compared to the original. It's actually a good ARPG.I was a QA tester on Hellgate London. My condolences.
Could hardly make it worse.Oh, it is great with the Revival mod. Not just compared to the original. It's actually a good ARPG.
Given that EA was involved, I think it could have been way worse.Could hardly make it worse.![]()
EA was...not the problem there.Given that EA was involved, I think it could have been way worse.
Torment: Tides of Numenera was an excellent game; wish I’d played it sooner. Thought it brought everything together nicely in the end; and you do get payoff for your choices throughout the game. This is one of those games that I'd love to be able to play again for the first time. Enjoy the revelations!
Yeah, I think the combat was better than Planescape: Torment, but not by much. And as you say, there’s so many ways to avoid combat that you have to fail a lot of rolls (or roleplay an aggressive naughty word) before you actually have to fight. It’s frustrating in that it doesn’t make much use of its rpg mechanics. So you level up several times without making use of the flashy new abilities you have acquired. Then, when a fight does eventually break out, you don’t know how to use your stuff.
Rather disagree here - I liked the crew I traveled with, and found their quests interesting. Perhaps they suffer a little due to the relatively short length of the game in comparison to most cRPGs, but overall I was pretty satisfied. The companion characters are dull, unlikeable and forgettable. There isn’t much to like about the main character either within the constraints of the writing. They are angsty and self-absorbed however you want to play.
