Obviously as a society we should definitely pursue figuring it out immediately. But on an individual level I am not sure of anything other than a period of novelty. But it is a trope of fiction that powerful magic also often entails powerful sleaze.

I find it odd that you go to sleaze, I think I know where you are going with this, but I am not sure.

Vast wealth exists but sadly that does not necessarily mean I will get to dispense it.

This baffled me.
It would be very likely that this would be an unresolvable mystery. But I would have questions, like, is this tail organically part of me? Are my genes now encoded to produce tails in my offspring? Or is it a clearly constructed artifact?
