Yum! 😋

I have to admit that I both quite enjoy burritos out but also make them at home for the family in a way that's likely described as "burrito+" as we vary out from the most traditional fillings.

But any way you make them, they're good!

Oh, and the mandatory greatest burrito rant ever.

EDIT: I have removed the greatest burrito rant ever. I contained words I would not utter in front of Eric's saintly grandmother. Here is a link. Be forewarned, there are words starting with F. Well, just one word, but repeated a lot and conjugated many ways.

EDIT the SECOND: Welp, ENWorld has decided to change it from a link to Media and wants to show it. I can't help that. At least it's too small to read without intentional action.

My go to is Al Pastor (Pork) or Carne Asada with Black Beans, Rice, Cheese, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo, Onions, Cilantro, and Guacamole. I’m really flexible on the choice of meat. Lengua, Shrimp, Chicken…all good.

And if I can choose the place to get it, it’d be from Tacqueria La Cumbre in the Mission District in San Francisco. 😋

My current favorite burrito has shrimp, chorizo, black beans, and rice. My favorite salsa is a combination with mild/pico & a touch of "hotter than the surface of the sun".

I did use to get a chili rellano burrito that is also quite excellent. At home we mix refried beans (either pinto or black), asada, french fries, and cheese.
