What's your runner up D&D setting?

From the discussions here it seems that a majority has a favorite published setting. Let's take that a step further.

Say that for your next D&D/d20* campaign (whether as a DM or player) you get to choose the setting. The only caveats are that it won't be a homebrew setting, and it won't be your favorite published setting. What do you choose?

For me the answer would be Greyhawk (with Eberron having been excluded). I haven't been very active in the intense discussion and to me it's a mostly blank slate with a lot of flavor. I have enough key products to last a while (original setting, City of Greyhawk) and have run a game in the setting since 3E (when I ran the RttToEE).

* I specify D&D setting, because including Glorantha as an option would give me a headache having to figure out what my favorite setting would be.

Scarred Lands (with Eberron excluded). I like Greyhawk a lot, but I've despaired of it ever again being actively supported as a setting.

My favorite published setting is probably Greyhawk right now, so if I couldn't homebrew I'd probably try Rokugan or Kara-tur. Especially with the new Yammunahar stuff from Dragon a little while back (gnomish shangri-la, anyone?).

Excluded: Planescape

Alternative: Eberron

If I take d20 settings into consideration, the alternative would be Iron Kingdoms instead of Eberron.

I might do a Planescape campaign set in Sigil when 4e comes out.

That actually was my intent. Fixed the original post a bit.

Favorite is Thieves World. Second would be Eberron. But there are plenty of good settings out there. :D
Indeed! Don't think that there weren't a lot of runners up to the runner up :)

(Scarred Lands, Kalamar come to mind immediately. I love Arcana Evolved the game, am uninspired about the world.)
