Is this a +++ thread only? Otherwise I have opinionsI kind of hate to say it, but Game of Thrones may have the best batting average overall. How many clunkers do they have? And when you add in Dunk & Egg, the average goes back up again.

I am sorry, I am a heathen, and do not worship at the Altar of Action.
No, but the ultimate goal is to arrive at what's the best, rather than just harp on the worst. Is this a +++ thread only? Otherwise I have opinions
Ooh, Discworld is a very good choice, with dozens of entries and even the worst probably a B or B+ in quality.DiscWorld
Laundry Files
Firefly/Serenity
Inspector Poirot
Death Note
Blues Clues (my kids thought every one was a banger, and I got to do the dishes)
The ones just by Gaiman, almost certainly (the second Death series was a big step down in quality, though). But DC is continuing to extend the line with spin-offs he's not writing, with mixed results, which I think brings it down. (It's an inevitable danger of playing in someone else's work for hire superhero sandbox.)I'd say Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics/graphic novels are up there.
Ooh.Bill Waterson's "Calvin and Hobbes" collections and Gary Larson's "The Far Side" collections.
