It's an ongoing investigation involving the FBI. It's entirely possible that, after their initial announcement, they're limited as to what they can talk about in a public venue.

Since it's the season, let me just say, "Bah, Humbug".

I'm not saying he should reveal what the FBI told him, all I'm saying is he could take a minute out of his time away from pimping DTRPG to post a reassuring message. As evidenced by the number of threads about this, people are clearly worried about it.


Plus, in the thread in general, Monte Cook relates various things that have been told to him by various WW employees. So clearly they are talking. Why not get it straight from the top, rather than 3rd hand?

It would make sense....with their holiday sale, I was about to go and buy a few Scarred Lands books through their website, but now that this has happened, and no clear indication of whether the site is secure again, I'm not keen on the idea of submitting my credit card info to them again.
