I'll watch the games I can, but I got rid of my cable two years ago, and since then watching games with an antenna is hit or miss. The reception goes in and out depending on the weather. Sometimes it so bad I can't even watch the games. Looks like I won't be able to watch the Christmas game this year unless I subscribe to Netflix, which is B.S. I miss the days when games were only on Sunday and Monday and maybe Saturday during the playoffs.
My antenna brother I feel your pain.

It is nearly upon us my friends. The start of the football season. Some dreams will be crushed,(The Cowboys), unrealistic dreams will be tempered,(The Cowboys again), and we will laugh at the exploits of teams that fail so ignominiously in the playoffs,(Cowboys once again). So comee one and alll to discuss the next glorious season of gridiron.

Just testing a hypothesis. How does this image make you feel?

Normalize stats as per-game averages instead of raw totals.

Yeah but some measurements like the 2,000 yard rushing season are ingrained as mythical feats based on large even numbers.

Sure you could do the 125 Yards Average Per Game Club but Americans have a hard time changing how we measure things even when some other way makes a lot more sense.

I have a lot of sympathy for folks who have challenges outside their control.

Self-inflicted hard-headedness is not one of those challenges.

It’s a little early for football talk

I approve of football almost every night. Why? Because there’s a demand for it
I might be speaking to a slim audience but if your in the service industry you would love a good football game on a Wednesday as otherwise it’s dead and so much so bars will actually just close early
As a neutral observer I’d say eagles vs Seahawks. That’s an interesting game and if that was on a weeknight then I’m going
My gaming nights are are always Monday’s and there’s always 1 in the group who will pipe up about a score update late in a game
I would think it’s rams vs everyone else as a lot of teams took a hit this year and rams added
Rams vs patriots, broncos, bills, ravens. Don’t see the chiefs there or Texans etc and nfc eagles lost out on wr, sanfran older, Seahawks lost rb
