I'd laugh though, if the Balogun plays against Belgium, then the Belgium appeal goes through and they suspend him for a game right before the next one. It would be irony for him to play one but be out for the harder game.
Belgium is a top ten contender too, as the game prove. I wouldn't say that spain would've been a much harder game for US. I am just glad that US is out after this naughty word show it was deserved. (Also I saw too many US influencer claiming the US team is one of the top contenders. Glad they got a reality check)

This World Cup gave us some wonderful performances from our Canadian team, and truly fantastic international visitors, and so exceeded expectations in those regards. Canada was lucky to host.

On the other hand, FIFA has somehow managed to fall short of even the miserably low expectations I expressed of it in page 1 of this thread. So it was been a mixed bag thus far. I am hopeful that it finishes on a high note, though, so the tournament is remembered for a worthy champion and some great games rather than for the controversy.

The vast majority of tourists, who came to Toronto to watch the games, have been incredible. Also, lots of positive comments about the city from them, online.

FIFA, on the other hand, sweeps in, takes all the money, then buggers off.
