It's been a while since I've seen it, so I couldn't say, but I don't mean pretty good, not great as a criticism -- when I watched it, I enjoyed it.

Yes. I for one am much happier watching Ted Lasso than I am watching any football or being a football fan (or any sort of sports fan) for the most part.

Ted Lasso is probably an excellent introduction to many of the ideas and concepts around modern football and football fandom (especially English, of course) for someone who doesn’t know anything about them, but I don’t know that it would get anyone into actually watching football.

I feel like there's quite a pretty big difference between 'There's just no regional interest in my area' and 'soccer is unpopular'.

it's been awhile since I saw it too, but rumors say that the original script has Jess as a lesbian or that Jess and Jules would end up together. shrugs I watched it at the time due to Parminder Nagra also being in ER at the time lol. I love her accent lol
