Wild Shape and Elemental Wild Shape, or an Animal Growthed Huge Elemental

So, you're a 20th level Druid.

You Wild Shape into an animal and then Wild Shape into a Huge elemental.

What type are you? Alter Self and Polymorph change your creature type.

With Elemental Wild Shape, however, the druid "retains her own creature type (humanoid, in most cases)".

Are you an animal? Can you Animal Growth yourself?

No. A human druid retains his type (humanoid) in elemental form, because his "own" type is humanoid.

When WS into an animal (and only into an animal), the druid's type changes, because WS explicitly says so.

IIRC, there is no Elemental "Wild" shape, just Wild Shape and Elemental Shape, which are somewhat different in their power and reference to the base creature.
