Much love for the half-elf! Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Article (Half-Elves)

A feat lets you use Con, Wis or Cha for the Dilletante's attack and damage rolls, and lets your Dilletante power count you as a member of the power's original class for prerequisite purposes!

And the Half-Elf Polymath paragon path has a daily stance as it's last power that lets you use the 1st-level at-wills of your allies as if you had them!!!

A lot o'love for 'em.
I have never really considered playing a half-elf, but this makes me really want to take a good look at it.

Cool options for sure.

This article is INSANE. It's like whomever wrote it didn't understand how his newly created stuff would interact with the existing rules. And, apparently the editor didn't either.

Aiyee.

What are you concerns or problems that you see? I have only read over their ability when I first perused the PHB.

Well for starters, the twin striking half-elven beastcharger druid is about to enter da house.

Probably as a multiclass -- once you can twin strike as a basic attack in beast form, there's no reason you need any -other- beast powers, as you can shift back to use your encounters and dailies as a minor.

Yea, that feat seemed awesome... being able to use your Dilettante power as a basic attack is a huge benefit, and then use it in beast form is even bigger. I am also kind of worried about that too.

Now they do require two at least feats to make it work so their is a cost attached, and the basic attack thing only applies to charges and opportunity attacks.... so it is not any basic attack...

FWIW, isn't the power from Dilettante converted to an encounter power? i.e. twin-strike charging druid is only doing it once per encounter, not each round.

Miscellaneous crazy half-elf stuff:

Avenger with wisdom based radiant twin strike on a charge.

Rogue daggermaster now has charisma based twin strike option.

(Basically, any non-ranger half-elf now has better use of twin strike than the ranger because they can use it on a charge)

Ranger with throw and stab using cleave with deft hurler at the end of the charge.

16th level Fighter Polymath using throw and stab with twin strike at the end of the charge can strike single target, mark 3 targets, or kill 3 minions.
