Wizards of the Coast is getting back into the Actual Play game. Today, Wizards announced via Variety that they are launching a new Actual Play show called Dungeon Masters, starring Jasmine Bhullar as the Dungeon Master along with players Mayanna Berrin, Christian Navarro, Neil Newbon and Devora Wilde. Wilde and Newbon are veterans of Baldur's Gate 3, a smash hit for the Dungeons & Dragons IP. However, both actors will be playing new characters and not their Baldur's Gate 3 characters.

Of note is that the show will feature "official, unreleased D&D content" which will be put up for sale on D&D Beyond following every episode. The first arc takes place in Ravenloft and will feature content from Ravenloft: The Horrors Within. New episodes will be released weekly on YouTube, starting on April 22nd.

Wizards of the Coast previously produced several official D&D Actual Play series, including Dice, Camera, Action and Force Grey. Dice, Camera, Action was their flagship D&D program for years until it unceremoniously ended due to a scandal involving two of its players.

I think this is the finale, but not the ending. On the official discord, it was mentioned the 4 episodes left are epilogues

Loved the final episode! Yes they wrapped it up! Some satisfying conclusions. Fun battles. Great to see all the players really use a bunch of their neat features.

All the characters ended up in satisfying ways. I loved the callback to a group we've seen in previous adventures.

Loved Devora's ....joke? Spell choice? ...about what she intended to do to Soth. Jasmine's reaction was priceless.

It really felt like a game group that would be fun to be in.

A minor note: I know it's all about selling game features... but I think the TV in the Table MAPS screen is visually the least interesting part of the set, and somehow boils down the imagination to a simple grid space. I KNOW it's about selling Maps. But it would be SO much better as a show to have a miniature set.

I'd love some behind-the-scenes making of for this show, with some interviews with Jasmine going over her writing and prep process, and how she's tracking everything live behind the screen.

I feel like EN World's two ongoing Guidance threads would have something to say about this episode, but in the end Guidance is not going to defeat Lord Soth for you.

That's what Fire Bolt, Witch Bolt, and Soth's prized miniature pony are for!

A comment from the D&D account about the remaining episodes: "Not to worry, you'll still have some time with Crem and company in another short adventure against a special foe from Ravenloft. 🐙"

For my part, I did not know, "I've done some sailing in real life!" would have the follow-up of, "I want to Akira-slide the boat."
