Hola all,
I am a noobie DM, and playing with 4 newbie level 2 players (my GF and 3 12-year olds hehehe). They are loving the game so far, and I want to do something special for a Halloween night game we are planning. My GF and I are doing dry-ice cauldrons, tons of candles, the whole nine yards for environment. I'm even doing some nice maps in Photoshop, custom character sheets, and power cards in a nice binder for each of the players. I've got the makings for a kick-ass night for some new players, but I could use some help with some items in-game.
So, the basics of the game is going to be a fort defense against an undead assault. I'm going to be using zombies, scarecrows, skeletons, and doing it in successive waves, and I want to pace the story so that the perimeter defenses (via catapult, balista, and to give my 2 Rangers some practice) hold for a nice period, then they will gradually begin to be overrun. That's my outline so far... kinda like the defense of Helms Deep in LOTR... but with CATAPULTS! heheh (ANY comments welcome)
What I need is if anyone has worked out an in-game:
catapult & balista
Scarecrow/Samhains
And I could use some nice (low-level named preferrably) weapons for:
Two-Blade Ranger
Archer Ranger
Fighter
Cleric
Paladin
Any ideas, recommendations, or home-grown weaponry would be most welcome.
Thanks!!
