I think the one fighting style feat will just be for mixing spell casting with an attack, but how that will mix with Eldritch Knight I don't know.
Honestly, the Bladesinger Extra Attack is pretty much the "5E Gish Fighting Style" while following K.I.S.S 5E guidelines. Heck, even the 2024 Valor Bard/Eldritch Knight(War Magic) has it as well so ya can't say you'd be stepping on the Tasha Bladesinger's toes by doing that. The advantage with those classes is that the fighting style itself is baked into the subclass. Since Fighting Styles are feat based in 5.5E, making it a slight tax for everybody else seems okay/not broken.

My firm belief is that Fighting Styles should still be part of classes. Gaining additional Fighting Styles is fine via feats, but they honestly should be more of a renown reward for factions also for 5.5E.

I think you're mistaken. Fighting Style feats cannot be taken by any class that does not have the "Fighting Style" class feature. So they are very much still tied to the classes that already got them.

I'm surprised that there wasn't at least ONE Sorcerer subclass in an Arcana book. I know they tried Ancestral Sorcery in the UA (Which, I liked conceptually, but it needed work), but they should have done at least something for Sorcerers.
