WotC DnD Quintessential 3.X Collection

Angel Tarragon

Dawn Dragon
So, I'm looking to close the gaps in my 3.X collection that just drip liquid cool. I have the following, which I think are on the list:

Draconomicon
Dungeonscape
Expaned Psionics Handbook
Magic Item Compendium
Magic of Incarnum
Player's Handbook II
Spell Compendium
Tome of Magic
Unearthed Arcana

My D20/OGL Book Collection

So, what have I (potentially) missed?

Lords of Madness and Libris Mortis both made my list of 'must haves', as did the Rules Compendium (I didn't think it would, though it's really a very useful product with several interesting sidebars).

I'll be receiving Rules Compendium from Amazon any day now.

Heroes of Horror

Good call. I can't believe that I forgot this. Heroes of Horror is easily the most useful genre supplement ever published for any edition of D&D. It lets me do things similar to Ravenloft without the built in 'a vampire in every coffin, a werewolf in every wood' assumption (which I hate, hate, hate).

Yep, HoH would make the (my) list.

Lords of Madness isn't bad either, it's true.

Book of 9 Swords, with some tweaking and modding, can be excellent (very much a matter of taste though, I'm quite aware.)

Really, most of Greg K's list. And yeah, Libris Mortis is fun to use.

Players Handbook? Dungeon Master's Guide?

I like Lords of Madness a lot; an aberration focused campaign is on my list of things to run one day. Its a long list :(

I also like Dragon Magic. Its basically a book of dragon themed ideas; a dragon focused campaign is on my list of things to run one day ....

Heroes of Horror is an awesome book. The Dread Necro and Archivist are worth the price of the book.

I think that Complete Adventurer is the best in the Complete series and would definitely rank it a must have.
